About The Founder.
Andrew is Managing Director of Mondayz and a lecturer in Strategy, Sales and Organisational Behaviour at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM). Prior to founding Mondayz, Andrew held senior leadership roles with Optus and American Express.
Evolving a best-in-class foundation in B2B marketing into a series of high-profile corporate sales leadership roles with critical turnaround agendas, Andrew culminated his tenure at American Express as Director, Head of Corporate Sales. In this role, Andrew re-built and re-energised a $100m+ revenue business to deliver exceptional results.
Initiating and leading a major program of people, process and cultural change, he led the team to significant year on year revenue growth. A firm believer that culture and the way you serve is the only sustainable differentiation in business, he also achieved record Net Promoter and employee engagement scores.
During this time, Andrew discovered and refined his philosophy of leadership, an approach that centres on the idea of symbiotic link between employee commitment, engagement and success.
Seeing the pervasive culture of ‘working for the weekend’ as a red flag of low engagement and commitment, Andrew’s vision rests on the ideas that ‘Mondays’ can, and should, be different, through improved cultures, leadership and strategy.
Founding Mondayz to support other businesses on this journey of change, Andrew now works with executives to unlock organisational potential, re-imagining strategic and cultural frameworks and leadership dynamics via bespoke, consulting and training.
Andrew holds a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) and is a regular speaker and contributor to conversations across the fields of employee engagement, culture, leadership development and strategy.
He is also a member of the Board at SMART Recovery Australia, where he provides counsel on strategy, governance and professional development for the organisation.
